How to add a line
Add a line to your account at any time — here's what we need to get it live.
Once you have an account with us, lines can be added at any time — for a partner, a kid, a parent, or that tablet that deserves its own data. Same plan, same simple billing, one account. And it's self-serve: the whole thing happens right in your Wizard account, no email required.
How to add a line
Log in to your Wizard account on the web and press Add a line at the top of the "My lines" section. The flow walks you through everything:
- Pick the line type — phone, tablet, or watch.
- Answer a few questions about the device — who its current carrier is, which phone it is (for phone lines), and whether it's paid off and unlocked. To make sure we can onboard you, consult our compatibility article, and our support article.
- Keeping a number, or starting fresh?
- Bringing a number means you'll want the old carrier's account number and a Transfer PIN handy — the standard switching checklist.
- A new number needs nothing extra and is usually live faster.
- Review and confirm — you'll see exactly what your new monthly bill becomes before you commit. Nothing is charged when you add the line, and it shows up on your account right away.
Activating the new line
Once the line is on your account, you can activate it right from your dashboard. We'll ask for some device information, including the device's IMEI (here's how to find it). If you're bringing a number over, we'll ask for your old carriers account number and transfer pin.
What it does to your bill
Billing for your line begins only when it's successfully activated by our team. That first charge covers the line only through the end of your current billing cycle. The line and its taxes are prorated to the days remaining, plus a one-time activation fee (which isn't prorated). Details on invoice anatomy here.
And if a line's time is up
That goes through us — how to remove a line.
